· 4 salmon fillets (6 oz / 170 g each)
· 1/2 teaspoon salt
· 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
· 1/2 teaspoon paprika
· 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
· 3 tablespoons honey (45 ml)
· 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (45 ml)
· 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (15 ml)
· 4 cloves garlic, minced
· 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional)
· 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
1. Pat salmon dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Cook salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until crispy and nearly cooked through.
4. Lower heat, add garlic, honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
5. Simmer briefly, add cornstarch slurry if desired, and spoon sauce over salmon.
6. Remove from heat, garnish, and serve immediately.
