4 slices sourdough or brioche bread
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup blueberry preserves
4 ounces brie cheese, sliced
1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
Pinch of salt
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.

  • Flip slices and spread blueberry preserves on two pieces.

  • Layer brie and white cheddar over the preserves.

  • Scatter blueberries on top and season lightly with salt and pepper.

  • Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side facing outward.

  • Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.

  • Cook sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  • Rest for 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
