1 pound large raw shrimp peeled and deveined
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
3 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Pat shrimp dry and set aside.
Whisk honey soy sauce garlic ginger and lemon juice in a bowl.
Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Sear shrimp 1 to 2 minutes per side then remove.
Pour sauce into skillet and simmer briefly.
Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
Return shrimp to pan and toss to coat.
Cook 1 to 2 minutes until shrimp are fully opaque.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
